What type of receivables can be factored?
Almost any valid invoice for services performed or products delivered may be factored. Before factoring your invoices, your customer must be creditworthy and your product or service must be completed, delivered, and accepted by that customer.
How long does the application process take?
The initial process takes seven to twenty-one days depending on how quickly you are able to provide us with basic background information on your company. Once an initial factoring line has been approved, ongoing funding takes as little as twenty-four hours.
Can I factor my receivables even though I have an outstanding bank loan or line of credit?
Yes, in most cases.
How will my customers react when we tell them that we are going to be factoring their receivables?
It depends on how you react. If you are positive about the benefits of factoring, your customers will be too. Receivables-based financing is used by many of the largest corporations in the world to improve cash flow, support growth, and increase profits. Many of your customers may use factoring services themselves and others have become familiar with it through other vendors. The fact that you qualify for a factoring line makes a strong positive statement.
